The Parents and Citizens Association is your voice in school community decision-making and support. Volunteering in your child’s school can help you feel connected to their learning and social interactions. It is a great way to get to know the staff and other students and shows your child that you take an interest in their world.
Every child in the school benefits from P&C activities which is why we encourage parents and/ or carers to get involved. Benefits for the school include:
- Discussion of educational issues
- Organisation of school and community events
- Tuckshop
- Uniform shop
- Fundraising for resources eg fridges, shade sails and gazebos, books, equipment for sport and classrooms.
Meetings are usually held on the third Thursday of each month commencing at 3.30pm. You will find us in the Resource Information Centre (RIC).
