The first event is the opening ceremony at the Mossman High school. Students will walk across to the Indoor Sports Centre to participate. An activities morning will be held at the Mossman Primary School on Wednesday, 16 July from 9.15am – 11:00am. Students will be involved in a variety of cultural activities that teachers and community members have coordinated for the second event. There will be a sausage sizzle ($2), muffins ($1); drinks ($1) and icy poles (50c) for sale throughout the morning. Money raised will go towards NAIDOC activities.
Parents and families are welcome to come along.

Students will walk over with their classes from the school to participate. The procession will finish at the Bubu – Kinkari Park (George Davis) at Raintrees, Mossman.
There will be events held at the park at the end of the Parade from 10:30 – 2:00pm. Our students will leave to walk back to the school about 12:00. All students are invited to attend. Please sign and date the permission form
if your child/children will be attending the street parade.
If any parents wish their child/ren to remain and participate in these celebrations at the park, they are to complete the additional permission section and advise their supervising teacher at the park that they are collecting their child. Please note that even if there is signed permission to remain at the park, no student will be left at the park unless the parent/guardian has collected their child/ren directly from the supervising teacher.
