Congratulations to our school leaders who conducted a moving Anzac Day ceremony on parade today. The behaviour and respectful manner of all students was outstanding. Thank you Mrs Craven and the student leaders for all your efforts this morning, we all really appreciated it and enjoyed the ceremony. Our school captains were busy at sports trials today and were unable to attend the High School Anzac Day ceremony but we were admirably represented by Reagan Crees, Kyle Neilan, Vanessa Woods and Samantha Elliot. A big thank you to these leaders.
Please join us in representing our school at the Port Douglas ANZAC day parade and service to commemorate 100 years since the Anzacs fought in Gallipoli. We will be meeting out the front of Coles at 10:15am for the 10:30am parade march down to the cenotaph. Students will need to wear their school uniforms, have a water bottle and hat.  Should it be raining, a raincoat/poncho or umbrella would also be advisable.
It would be great to see as many people as possible there!
